Ecole St. Mary School was truly honored to welcome Bishop Franken for a tour of our school today, joined by Whitecourt Trustee David Willsher and our grade six ambassadors. We had the opportunity to share our school spirit with the Bishop, presenting him with a handmade rosary, heartfelt cards and prayers, and telling him all about our shark mascot—because just like Jesus, we are tough and smart.
In return, he shared his role as a Bishop, his crozier and his favorite Bible stories.
